4 Free Winter SVG Files for Cricut
Winter lasts a lot longer than Christmas. These four free SVG files for Cricut and Silhouette are made for the months after the tree comes down, when the house still needs something warm on the shelf and the couch. None of them mention a holiday, so they can go up in late November and stay until spring.
Each design is matched to one project, with its own tutorial. Hello Winter goes on a slatted pallet sign for the porch or entry. Cozy Season is sized for a clear glass mug, where hot cocoa becomes the background for white lettering. Snow Day Crew is a set of matching sweatshirts for the family, with advice on cutting several sizes in one session. Stay Cozy turns a plain pillow cover into a throw pillow without any sewing.
These are also good Cricut projects for beginners. The glass mug takes about half an hour and uses a paper template to get the placement right the first time. The pillow and the sweatshirts are standard iron-on projects, with extra notes on zippers, seams and thick fleece. The pallet sign is the only one with a special step, which is slicing the vinyl at the gaps between boards.
Soft blues, charcoal, cream and white suit all four. Pick one below to see the full steps.
