License
Our files are free for personal use. The two lists below say what that covers.
You can
- Make things for yourself, your home, your family and your friends.
- Make gifts, as many as you like.
- Resize a design, change its colors or combine it with your own work.
- Keep copies of the files on your own devices.
You cannot
- Sell items made with these files. A commercial license for that is planned.
- Sell, share or give away the files themselves, changed or unchanged.
- Upload the files to other websites, marketplaces, groups or print-on-demand services.
- Say that you made the designs.
- Use a design as a logo or register it as a trademark.
Sharing
Want a friend to have a file? Send them the link to the project page, not the file itself. Sign-ups for the files are not open yet; once they are, your friend will be able to ask for a copy on that page.
Selling what you make
We plan to offer a commercial license for people who sell finished items. It is not available yet. Until it is, the files are for personal use only. If you would like to hear when it is ready, write to hello@cozycutfiles.com.
Fonts
The designs are set in open-licence fonts. This license covers our finished designs, not the fonts themselves, which stay under their own licences.
No guarantee
The files are provided as they are. We cannot promise they will suit every machine, material or project. Do a small test cut before you use your good material.
